About Us

LDS Engineering is a small, family owned and run independent business on the Hampshire and Surrey border, which consists of various online stores selling automotive parts and products.

We also service / repair vehicles and repair cylinder heads at our home workshop and machine shop in Farnham.

 

Originally started over 20 years ago as a Father (Dave) and Son (Lee) team doing Rover/MG head gasket repairs with O.E parts for the notorious K Series engine and selling Ford gaskets for Zetec E engine conversions in the mid 2000s.

The business grew from strength to strength over the years, accumulating new machinery, recovery vehicles and opening various online webstores to meet demand for parts.

Dave semi retired but after suffering a major stroke in 2019 packed up work completely but still likes to help out now and again wrapping online orders.

Lee now fully runs the workshop, machine shop and processes all of the online orders.

 

Unlike many online businesses these days, we try to carry everything that is advertised in the online stores in stock! We understand just how bloody frustrating it placing a order only to get a a message several days later stating the item is out of stock and refunded.

This also helps local customers who are looking for a part and would like to collect – We try to accommodate collections but please note most days are extremely busy so this is not always possible.

We also design and manufacture custom paper and exhaust gaskets.
